As long as I can remember, the colours, the movement and the moods of the world have fascinated me. In my early years, I spent many hours wandering through the fields and ravines around our home. The seasons with their colours and moods continue to inspire me.
In my career I studied human behavior, finding personal interactions and reactions intriguing. They attract me as much as the stormy sky or the perennial garden.
When I catch one of these fleeting moments I have an overwhelming urge to put these feelings on paper or canvas. Grasping that mood with paint is often elusive, however when successful the whole process becomes very personal and rewarding to me.
